you will never walk alone, I will walk with you.

Barbara Pearson, MSW

Greetings, my name is Barbara Pearson and I have been in the social service / counseling / therapeutic field for over 20 years and come with a wealth of knowledge and experience. I have worked in the community, private / public agencies, and the prison system and all of these experiences have taught me to lead with compassion.

I bring to you someone who has lived life and has overcome adversity just like you. I use a collaboration of ways to usher you into mental and emotional wellness. I'm interested in working with those who are willing to take the first step and thereafter you will never walk alone, I will walk with you.

I am a graduate of Shaw University, Widener University, and a continuous understudy in life. I welcome you to join me so we can take the first step to creating the healthy life and positive thought process you deserve.

Instilling hope and resilience through treatment

La-Keya Williams, MA, LPC

Welcome! I am La-Keya Williams and I currently possess a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Rosemont College and two years of clinical psychology education from The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

For almost 15 years I have had the privilege of providing therapy and case management to diverse individuals.  I have assisted individuals in compassionate care coordination and in creating their own individual plans to heal.  I am a constant and persistent advocate for integrated PERSONHOOD meaning that my presence in therapy is solidified through interactions that empower individuals as they are, providing resources that affirm and protect their experiences and uniqueness so they can reach their full potential.

As a cisgender woman of color in both academia and in life, I have both lived experience and clinical experience that attest to the importance of using culturally centered and trauma-informed intervention/clinical skills to dismantle barriers to treatment and healing for communities of color. In concert with this, I have experience with providing equitable and compassionate services for underserved and underrepresented populations within various therapeutic settings. Providing high-quality, individualized, equitable, and compassionate services for underserved and underrepresented populations is a must.
